MY LIFE

My family and I moved to Skokie three years ago and it was the best decision we've made as a unit. There is a sense of community that is unparalleled to any I've been a part of.

I am a Chicago native, born and raised by a single mom on the south side of the city.

I attended Chicago Public Schools, graduating from Whitney Young Magnet High School.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University.

I attained my Master's degree in English Second Language from Concordia 

University.

I was in the accounting field for 20 years advancing from a clerk to the C.F.O. of a company.

I am a K-8 certified teacher.

I've been an educator for 6 years; 2 as a teacher's aide at Middleton Elementary and 4 as a middle school English Language Arts teacher.

I have been blessed with  a wonderful wife and 3 awesome children: Taylor (26), Evan (10), and Kenley (8). Amy and I have been together for 20 years and I am so grateful to have such an amazing partner as we navigate through another journey in our lives.
